Roysdon Robertson Sr. was married when he came here with his six children. Little is known about him and his children. He died soon after coming here. His children are believed to have went to Oklahoma and Texas. One son William married a Newberry. Bettie married George Higgins. Nancy married Rufus Edmonston. There was one called "Doc". another John P. Roberson. Roysdon Jr. married Selbrina Fulkerson. Roysdon died in 1864 of pneumonia while on furlough from the Union army. Selbrina then married Henry Lawson. Roysdon and Selbrina were the parents of four children: Carroll, Thomas, Martha and Adalida.
